Native Camp, an online teaching platform.                                         I cannot count the number of online and offline opportunities that I have missed because I’m from a country that is not included in those things.   For instance, about two years ago, I was high and dry; I mean I was exceedingly broke. So I took to the internet, looking for ways to make passive income. By the way, I found tons of online opportunities but many of them- like 96% of them were fake. The remaining 4% that are genuine are inaccessible to me because I am a Nigerian. Have you heard about Clickbank before? Recently, someone sent me a mail, asking what she can do about her friends who don’t encourage her talent. She said she is a writer and that she has written many short stories but most of her friends never for once show interest in what she does. She said it is really frustrating, especially because she always supports her friends and family members in whatever they do. Talented individual.  In my response to this mail, I told her some things which I will like to share with everyone here today. I call this phenomenon talent apathy. Not everyone will appreciate what you do. It doesn’t mean that they don’t like you or they don’t like the fact that you are talented, it just that they may have reasons why they are reluctant to support your dreams and visions.
