MALALA YOUSAFZAI. Heavenoasis Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize winner. She was born 1997. Malala Yousafzai was born born 12 July 1997. Because she was born in a politically unstable environment, she experienced a lot of violence while growing up which included the closing of female schools in Pakistan at the time. This perhaps is one of the reasons why she is an advocate for girl-child education. Yousafzai attended a school that her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, had founded. After the Taliban began attacking girls' schools in Swat, Malala gave a speech in Peshawar, Pakistan, in September 2008. The title of her talk was, "How dare the Taliban take away my basic right to education?"
