Most people have the dream of being an online worker, everyone wants a kind of job that he or she can do at his or her convenient time. This is the dream of many people. No one wants to be at the mercy of an annoying boss or employer; waiting till the end of the month or the end of the week before he or she gets paid.

Unfortunately, there are too many people looking for this sort of opportunity and there are actually fewer opportunities than we were made to believe. Many of the so called opportunities are just deceptions and long winding path with no end. I have been a victim of these so called opportunities when I was still green on the internet. I want to save you my reader from going down the same useless route (if you have not gone already). I will share with you some simple things that you can do online to make money irrespective of where you are from in the world or what level of education you have.

The good news is , you don’t need a PhD before you start earning money online, most people can do it and be big through. It doesn’t matter if you a student, a graduate who is looking for job or a worker who needs extra source of income or a retiree who is looking for something part time to do make additional income. Before we go on, you should have the following things because they are the tools that you need to get started:

2. A device to access the internet

3. Two or three hours a day.

4. A funnel- A blog, or a website. (I can teach you how to create this).

Now, let’s go and see how to use all these things.

1. A STABLE INTERNET CONNECTION.

To start making online, you must have an internet connection. If you don’t have then you cannot get online and if you cannot get online, then you cannot make money online. It is as simple as ABC. So the first thing you need is an internet connection. Thank God, data is very cheap these days. INTERNET SERVICE PROIDERS (ISPs) no longer charge exorbitant prices to provide internet access anymore. So you can purchase a connection cheaply. If you are a Nigerian, the cheapest Internet Service Provider (ISP) is Glo. Glo offers about 9GB of data for just #2000 only. Isn’t that amazing? Okay there are other ISPs in Nigeria: Airtel, 9Mobile, MTN etc. So choose any of them and get started.

2. A DEVICE TO ACCESS THE INTERNET.

Apart from an internet connection, you also need a device to use the internet. Your device can be a mobile phone or a laptop computer or desktop computer. I started my online journey with a desktop computer but now I am using Mac, the most expensive brand of computer when I started making my money. So you too can start small, get a functioning device and get ready to move!

3. TWO OR THREE HOURS A DAY

This is very important if you want to make any progress on the internet. You need to spend about two or three hours in a day on the internet, working and making money into your account. The internet is not for lazy people. Do not forget, the internet is a country where people all over the world meet for various reasons. So if you are too lazy to get online and start making money, then you need to reexamine yourself.

4. A FUNNEL- A BLOG OR A WEBSITE.

Creating a funnel is not hard but it needs a lot of expertise. You can start making money, having a funnel alone. Funnel in fact is the most important part of your online presence. If you have a functioning funnel, then you are good to go. But the problem is HOW TO GET A FUNNEL. Like I said, you can create a funnel by yourself. A funnel is a means through which people come to you. This means that you want to sell something; you need people to come to you. So what happens? You have to create a funnel. I can teach you how to create a funnel but that is a different thing entirely so let’s continue with how to make money online. You can still make money online without a funnel but it will take more time and energy to go online without a funnel.

5. PATIENCE.

Forget about any story you might have read online, making money online is not magical; it is a real work. You have to understand one thing about the internet, more than half of its users are looking for ways make money out of it and the remaining half are probably looking for ways to spend less money that they will spend in the physical world. So it is a competitive world. You won’t just start making money like that, no, even the internet fraudsters don’t make money immediately they start, it takes months, sometimes years, before they even make their first money and after that, they may be broke for the next six months or six years, so you see that it is not a piece of cake. Blogging is about setting up your blog (Which can be done within thirty minutes) and develop content for it. The content of your blog must be very interesting and attractive to the readers. Once you start generating traffic, you can actually start making money through Google AdSense. Google AdSense is the world’s biggest and most popular contextual advertisement company, and is one of the many smart ways people make money online without paying anything. For starters, Google AdSense is a marketing branch of Google that places adverts on your blogs or website. Once visitor's on your blog or website sees this ad and follow the links to buy whatever was advertised, you will receive a commission instantly!

Paid blogs are good because your blog will be secured and nothing bad will happen in your absence. Paid blogs also come with a lot of features that are awesome and attract people easily to the blog. Before you make up your mind about setting up a blog, you must think of your financial capabilities. Some paid blogs charge very little amount of money when you start but when it's time for renewal, they charge very high. So it's better to know before you jump into it. The popular paid blogs are Wordpress: Word press offers a wide range of services. In fact it is the largest hosting body in the world with millions of hosted accounts worldwide. Once you have your blog, think of great contents.

My advise to you is that if you want to open blog, use either wordpress or blogger, both of them are good and they will give you service for your money.
